It was a long, tiring day under the hot Spanish sun (yes, Mom, I wore sunscreen!) – a day spent touring and exploring the beautiful cities of Ávila and Segovia. There’s really nothing quite like standing atop a castle wall or getting lost in a foreign city. (This is REALLY becoming a theme). This time, though, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
The Church of San Martin.
The Roman Aqueduct.
One of a thousand beautiful sights.
The Cathedral of Segovia.
The old Jewish Quarter.
I suck at selfies.
Into the castle grounds!
Disney was inspired by castles like these.
Isabella of Castile insisted on equal ruling rights with Ferdinand of Aragon. You go, girl!
Love the stained glass. Don’t know who he is. LOL.
As seen from a castle window.
Storybook town or what??
In the weapons room!
More spires.
Coolest carousel ever.
Our singing tour guide!
Hola!
The Cathedral from a distance.
Iglesia de San Pedro.
What wonderfully warm weather!
The walled city of Avíla.
I’m in Spain! Haha
